ALL ABOUT ME
My name is Dusty Little, and I teach Science at Liberty High School. I am also the Science Department Chair. This year, I am teaching AP / Honors Chemistry and Forensics. This is my 15th year at LHS, but I have been teaching for 17 years. I also taught at Freedom and Wilson Area high schools. During my career, I have taught a number of different science courses and levels including Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Forensics. I am a graduate of Wilson Area High School and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lafayette College. I obtained my Master’s degree in Education from Wilkes University.
In my science classes, students are expected to work hard and try their very best each day. I use hands-on activities and labs, discussions, videos, and projects to help students learn and become engaged in the course material. I believe it is important for students to understand the real world implications of what they are learning. My interests include cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies, playing with all my Apple devices (I'm addicted), watching movies, running, and spending time with family and friends. I love Slurpees. |
